This page explains what personal data CronAI processes when you visit cronai.app or join its waitlist, why, and what rights you have.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States, on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). To deliver pages and keep the service secure, Vercel processes technical data of each request, such as the IP address, time, requested address, referrer and browser details. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The request logs available to us are kept for one day; how long Vercel keeps data for its own purposes is set out in Vercel's privacy policy. Vercel participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); the data processing agreement also includes the EU standard contractual clauses.

Waitlist

The waitlist form is provided by OpnForm (JhumanJ SAS, Neuilly-sur-Seine, France), which processes the data you enter on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The form asks for your first and last name and e-mail address, and optionally your LinkedIn profile and a message. We use these details to invite you to the alpha and to contact you about it. The form also has a separate newsletter checkbox: only if you tick it do we use your e-mail address to send you news about cronai.app. The legal basis for both is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw either at any time by writing to support@cronai.de. We delete your details when the alpha ends or when you withdraw, whichever comes first; newsletter consent ends when you withdraw it. OpnForm runs on Amazon Web Services. Where your data is processed in the United States, the transfer is covered by Amazon Web Services' participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).

To keep out automated sign-ups, the form uses hCaptcha, provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., 1065 SW 8th St #704, Miami, FL 33130, United States, which processes technical data about your browser and how you use the form. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the waitlist from automated abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Intuition Machines participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).

Cookies, scripts and links

cronai.app sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no scripts from other providers; its fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Links to the waitlist form, our status page and cronai.de lead to pages with their own privacy information; nothing is sent to them until you follow a link.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Write to support@cronai.de. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
